Dr. Carola Pozzoli earned her bachelor’s degree in Herbal Science and Technology (2016) and continued with her master’s degree in Food and Human Nutrition (2019) at the University of Milan. She worked at the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences – Production, Territory, Agroenergy (University of Milan), in the Viticulture section, with a research grant on the project “Evaluation of sensors to monitor the ripening status of grapes and the water status of the crop”. She is currently completing her PhD in Pharmacological, Experimental and Clinical Biomolecular Sciences at the Department of Pharmacological and Biomolecular Sciences ‘Rodolfo Paoletti’ (University of Milan) in the Laboratory of Pharmacognosy and her main topic concerns the valorization of chestnut by-products as a source of bioactive compounds.
