In Parma the state of the art of Italian phytotherapy

The Italian Society of Phytotherapy – S.I.Fit. organizes the XXXII National Congress of Phytotherapy, scheduled for 12 to 14 April in Parma.

Among the topics addressed during the three days of the congress, some seminars will concern natural substances and antimicrobial resistance; there safety of botanicals; phytotherapy in dermatology; phytotherapeutics in gastrointestinal pathologies and dysbiosis; the role of phytotherapy for the protection of the microcirculation; the role of phytotherapy in anxiety and mood disorders.

On Friday, space for young researchers under 38 who deal with phytotherapy and natural substances with the fourteenth edition of “SYRP: S.I.Fit. Young Researchers Project”, dedicated to young people and research in the company.

This year too, the Italian Society of Phytotherapy has established two study prizes, named respectively after Italo Taddei, founder of the scientific society, and Lamberto Monti, who was its honorary president. With these initiatives, S.I.Fit. intends to stimulate the interest of new generations of researchers in the scientific study of medicinal plants which constitute both tradition and an important future resource for modern pharmacology.
