The advanced course in “Healthy properties of natural products” at the University of Milan began on 12 January, coordinated by prof. Mario Dell’Agli, that this year crosses the finish line of the fourth edition with a substantial increase in participation.

The specialization course has, among its objectives, that of non-conditional contribution to the course: EPO srl, Fitomedical srl, Istituto di Ricerche Biomediche Ganassini, IMO SpA e Linnea SA.
During the first lesson, after a brief presentation by the new students (with a very varied background: pharmacists, doctors, biotechnologists, biologists, herbalists), three scholarships were assigned on the basis of the merit ranking to cover the tuition fee. registration.
The scholarship supported by Fitomedical srl, dedicated to the memory of Dr. Massimo Rossi, was assigned to Dr. Valeria Giorgi, graduated in Medicine and Surgery, medical researcher at IRCCS Galeazzi – S.Ambrogio in Milan, in the field of rheumatology with a particular focus on fibromyalgia syndrome.
The scholarship supported by IMO SpA was awarded to Dr. Carlotta Lunghi, graduated in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, researcher at the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences of the University of Bologna – Alma Mater Studiorum.
The scholarship supported by the Ganassini Biomedical Research Institute and dedicated to the memory of prof. Domenico Ganassini Di Camerati, was assigned to Dr. Giovanni Battista Gidaro, graduated in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Biomolecular Pharmacy, scientific consultant in the field of genomics, nutrigenetics, bioinformatics and data analysis.
Lessons are scheduled on Friday afternoons and Saturdays and will continue until March 9th.
