Mario Dell’Agli

Mario Dell’Agli is Full Professor of Pharmacology at the Department of Pharmacological and Biomolecular Sciences ‘Rodolfo Paoletti’ (DiSFeB) of the University of Milan, Faculty of Pharmacy. The research activity is mainly focused on the study of natural products, deriving from medicinal and medicinal plants. Specifically, Mario Dell’Agli deals with Pharmacognosy, with particular reference to the study of the biological and/or pharmacological activities of natural products, also through an ethnopharmacological approach.

The research activity is documented by over 120 scientific publications in indexed and peer reviewed journals (H-index 34).

In addition, Mario Dell’Agli is co-author of over 350 abstracts presented at national and international congresses, is or has been the scientific director of over 40 grants funded by public and private bodies and is co-author of 6 patents and has been invited speaker at over 30 national and international congresses.

Mario Dell’Agli is teacher of Phytotherapy and Poisonous plants and allergens to the degree course in Herbal Sciences and Technologies and Pharmacognosy to the degree course of Pharmacy; it also coordinates the Advanced course in “Healthy properties of natural products” and is a teacher of various specialization and master courses in the phytotherapeutic field. Since 2022 he has been included in the list of top world 2% scientists of Stanford University.
