Marco Angarano graduated in Herbal Sciences and Technologies from the University of Milan and obtained the professional diploma of Phytopreparator recognized by the Lombardy Region. Freelance journalist, he collaborated with the information magazine on medicinal plants Erboristeria Domani and, subsequently, played the role of scientific coordinator at Natural 1, a monthly technical-scientific information magazine dedicated to phytotherapy, phytocosmetics andnutrizione. Author of numerous informative articles dedicated to phytotherapy and natural products, he currently writes articles on medicinal plants and phytotherapy for the medical information portal (

Marco Angarano collaborates with the Laboratory of Pharmacognosy of the Department of Pharmacological and Biomolecular Sciences “Rodolfo Paoletti” (DiSFeB) of the University of Milan as part of the study and scientific dissemination of the biological activity of products of natural origin; he was co-supervisor of 4 compilation theses and he’s co-author of 5 articles in international journals with impact-factor. With prof. Mario Dell’Agli, he is responsible for organizing the Advanced course in ‘Health properties of natural products’ at the University of Milan and is a member of the Steering Committee of the degree course in Herbal Sciences and Technologies at the University of Milan.
