Marco Angarano

Marco Angarano graduated in Herbal Sciences and Technologies from the University of Milan and obtained the professional diploma of Phytopreparator recognized by the Lombardy Region. Freelance journalist, he collaborated with the information magazine on medicinal plants Erboristeria Domani and, subsequently, played the role of scientific coordinator at Natural 1, a monthly technical-scientific information magazine dedicated to phytotherapy, phytocosmetics andnutrizione. Author of numerous popular articles on herbal medicine and natural products, he has produced several monographs on medicinal plants for the medical information portal micuro.it (https://www.micuro.it/enciclopedia/pharma); he currently collaborates with the editorial staff of the website of the magazine L’Erborista (www.lerborista.it).

Marco Angarano collaborates with the Laboratory of Pharmacognosy of the Department of Pharmacological and Biomolecular Sciences “Rodolfo Paoletti” (DiSFeB) of the University of Milan in the field of study and scientific dissemination of the biological activity of products of natural origin; he has been co-supervisor of 8 compilation theses and is co-author of 5 articles in international journals with impact-factor. With Professor Mario Dell’Agli, he oversees the organization of the Advanced Course in Health Properties of Natural Products at the University of Milan and is a member of the Steering Committee for the Degree Courses in Herbal Sciences and Technologies/Health Product Science at the University of Milan.
