Elisa Sonzogni obtained her master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology in March 2024. She followed a thesis project entitled “Study of the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect of Brassica oleracea L. glucosinolates in an in vitro model of intestinal inflammation” at the Laboratory of Pharmacognosy of the Department of Pharmacological and Biomolecular Sciences “Rodolfo Paoletti” of the University of Milan. Winner of a type B research grant, she currently continues her research work at the Pharmacognosy Laboratory. Her research activity mainly concerns the study of the anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity of extracts of natural origin through the use of gastric and intestinal cells and bacterial strains such as Helicobacter pylori.
