Registrations open for the Advanced course in Health properties of natural products

Registration for the Advanced course in Health properties of natural products at the University of Milan is open until 18/12/2023.

The course, coordinated by prof. Mario Dell’Agli, is open to all graduates interested in deepening their knowledge in relation to the use and production of products of natural origin. The educational program of the course, which will be delivered online, provides for the in-depth knowledge of the phytochemical and pharmacological characteristics of medicinal plants and products of natural origin. Supplementary notions will be provided regarding the pathology and the possible interactions between the same products of natural origin, drugs and foods. NDuring the course, space will also be given to the traditional use of medicinal plants, which always offers ideas for modern scientific research, and for this reason some lessons will be dedicated to Ethnobotany, Ethnopharmacology, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine. Furthermore, specific lessons will be dedicated to the use of natural products in pediatrics and the elderly, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The course will take place online and includes 88 hours of lessons, which will be held from mid-January to March 2024 on Friday afternoons and Saturdays; a total of 11 credits will be recognized for the course activities. At the end of the course there will be a final test to evaluate learning.

The registration fee is €1100.00; three scholarships will be awarded to cover the fee, which will be assigned based on the merit ranking.
